The story, co-written by one-time Starsky & Hutch scripter William Blinn, maybe a somewhat hackneyed tale with His Purpleness overcoming a troubled background and musical rival Morris Day to achieve his dreams of rock stardom. However, the cast, which also includes Prince protege Apollonia, rises above the cliches to hand in a set of performances which, while never likely to trouble the Oscars, prove that all concerned can at least play a rough approximation of themselves with minimal difficulty.
What really helped push the film's box-office receipts through the roof, however, was its soundtrack featuring a clutch of hit singles--notably "When Doves Cry"--and which cemented our pint-sized hero's position as one of the globe's premier performing artists. Sadly, subsequent attempts to re-bottle this particular brand of lightning with Under a Cherry Moon and Graffiti Moon would prove substantially less successful but Purple Rain still looks--and, more importantly, sounds--rarely less than funktastic. --Clark Collis

Standard Tracked Delivery - £2.99 (FREE over £20) - Your order would be expected to arrive within 48-72 hours after dispatch.
Next Day Express Tracked - £3.99 Some of our media catalogue and easy to ship tems are available for express delivery - any orders received by 2pm we will deliver to your door 7 days a week on an express next day service. If your order is placed after 2pm your order will be processed on the next working day.

If your order is being delivered within the EU, please be aware we have signed up to the EU’s Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS).

DDU Incoterms payment (or delivery duty unpaid) mean the receiver/customer will be contacted by customs once their shipment arrives, and will have to settle any charges in order for customs to release the shipment and have it delivered to the customer.

Usually an expensive addition to the Armada game, this was a price not to be missed.

The funko was packaged very well, no defects, was exactly as pictured. I ordered the treasure goblin from Diablo 4 and it’s great, will purchase from here again!
So far this is the third adult-sized dragon in my D&D miniature collection, joining the red dragon and blue shadow dragon, in addition to the two ancients Arveiaturace and Balagos. While Balagos still reigns supreme, the lunar dragon is my favourite of the three adult dragons.
The pose is magnificent, with the wings spread wide as if either taking flight or attempting to instil fear into a mortal foe. Unlike a number of the larger dragon minis, this one does not need the tail or wings attaching separately, so you get a nice smooth finish to the mini without any join lines.
The paint job is understated but beautiful. The majority of the dragon is white/pale grey, but with the underside of the wings given a light dusting of a pinkish brown.
Overall, Wizkids have excelled themselves with this one, and I'd recommend it to anyone running a Spelljammer campaign, or just looking for a new imposing D&D adversary (or ally!) in their game.
