This compilation presents the very best of Sonny Burgess's Sun recordings, featuring twenty-two of these celebrated outtakes alongside his five momentous 45rpm releases. Arguably the very best of Sam Phillips' and Sun Records' "nearly men", Burgess recorded prolifically for Phillips between 1956 and 1959, although much of his output remained unreleased at the time. Indeed, his recorded endeavours yielded just a handful of singles, four on Sun plus one on Phillips International, all of which have long been massive collectors' items. Sonny's reputation was built on those wild 45s, i.e. 'We Wanna Boogie', 'Ain't Got A Thing', 'My Bucket's Got A Hole In It', 'Thunderbird' and 'Sadie's Back In Town'. Bootleg compilations of his studio outtakes reached near-mythical status in the UK and Europe during the 1970s Rockabilly Revival, often changing hands for ludicrous sums of money.

Norman Bates was never like this!

Somewhat forgotten Ken Russell film from the 80s. (Ken Russell himself is somewhat forgotten these days, sadly). Like many films that are hard to find on DVD, this is where the Dual Format release comes to the rescue! Another steamy role for Kathleen Turner during her Vixen heyday. Anthony Perkins is on top form in a Norman Bates-goes-screwed-up-Catholic-priest kinda way and you'll never look at dildoes in quite the same way again!

ELO Album

I ordered 'All Over the World' by ELO. Delivery wasn't the quickest, however it was well packaged, and competitively priced. As for the album, it's in perfect condition, and plays well. The album is a classic, so doesn't really need me to say it's fantastic, but it is!
