Star Wars is almost a cultural rite of passage. Parents remember it fondly and enjoy introducing their children to the ‘proper’ films and ignoring some of the newer entries. It makes excellent fodder for board games and a number have been released. Most successful of these is arguably X-Wing. The dog fighting game set in a galaxy far far away. Legions takes this intergalactic war to the surface as you pit the rebel scum against the Empire! Of course Star Wars is full of vehicles that don’t fly around space and Legions allows you mess around in AT-AT, AT-ST and SATs exams. (Maybe not the last one). This is a serious game of warfare and it’s worth noting that the minis in the game come unassembled and unpainted. They are designed to fit together well and will only need a bit of superglue. Once you have assembled your forces you them need to assemble your force adding in troopers, vehicles, and of course, characters from the epic film series. Just as they should, characters like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader can change the course of the battle, if used to their strengths! The rule set governs command in an intuitive way and allows for fog of war and moments of chaos as a real laser battle would no doubt descend into! This pack of upgrade cards brings together 60 neutral upgrade cards that were previous found in expansions for the Clone Wars Core Set. Whether you want extra cards or just a quick way of grabbing all these cards this is a great expansion to pick up!

If your order is being delivered within the EU, please be aware we have signed up to the EU’s Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS).

Usually an expensive addition to the Armada game, this was a price not to be missed.

The funko was packaged very well, no defects, was exactly as pictured. I ordered the treasure goblin from Diablo 4 and it’s great, will purchase from here again!
So far this is the third adult-sized dragon in my D&D miniature collection, joining the red dragon and blue shadow dragon, in addition to the two ancients Arveiaturace and Balagos. While Balagos still reigns supreme, the lunar dragon is my favourite of the three adult dragons.
The pose is magnificent, with the wings spread wide as if either taking flight or attempting to instil fear into a mortal foe. Unlike a number of the larger dragon minis, this one does not need the tail or wings attaching separately, so you get a nice smooth finish to the mini without any join lines.
The paint job is understated but beautiful. The majority of the dragon is white/pale grey, but with the underside of the wings given a light dusting of a pinkish brown.
Overall, Wizkids have excelled themselves with this one, and I'd recommend it to anyone running a Spelljammer campaign, or just looking for a new imposing D&D adversary (or ally!) in their game.
