Considered by many to be one of the most underrated bands, The Beau Brummels' body of work rivals many of their more celebrated contemporaries, particularly in the country rock genre. This eponymous 1975 album marked the original line-up's reappearance for the first time since their 1965 debut. Produced by Ted Templeman and Lenny Waronker, this record showcases fine songwriting from Ron Elliott and the distinctive vocal work of Sal Valentino, blending the band's trademark folk and country-tinged style.
Although the album initially struggled to find its audience, this expanded edition demands a reassessment. It features pristine remastered audio and includes a baker’s dozen of unreleased demos, alternates, and outtakes sourced from the Warner Bros. label vaults. Reissue producer Alec Palao collaborated closely with the surviving Brummels to shape this release, which includes an extensive essay detailing the album's evolution within the illustrated package.
This release is presented as a two-LP orange vinyl pressing, featuring the original album plus bonus material across four sides.
This is a 2-disc LP record pressing manufactured in the USA by Real Gone Music.
