Les Big Byrd - Ruin Everything [audioCD]

Les Big Byrd - Ruin Everything [audioCD]

Stockholm psychedelic-rock pioneers Les Big Byrd deliver their fifth studio album, Ruin Everything. Since their formation in 2011, this four-piece act, fronted by songwriter and producer Jocke Åhlund, has honed a signature sound blending space rock, hypnotizing psychedelia, and disciplined krautrock. After the experimental, instrumental focus of 2024's Diamonds, Rhinestones and Hard Rain, Ruin Everything marks a return to a more song-focused approach, echoing the structure of their 2018 classic, Iran Iraq IKEA.

Key Album Highlights

• Features a tighter, more focused sound where the band's most adventurous tendencies are reined in.
• Showcases a range from the dystopian epic 'Big Flood' to the full-throttle space rock of 'Hökvind'.
• Represents Les Big Byrd at their best yet, balancing their status as one of Sweden's biggest rock bands at home with their underground psych appeal abroad.
