Good Night and Good Luck (2005) - Drama [DVD]

Oscar-nominated drama directed by George Clooney, who also stars alongside a stellar ensemble cast. Set in 1953, during the early days of television, the film follows legendary broadcast journalist Edward R. Murrow (David Strathairn) as he anchors CBS's "See It Now." With the nation gripped by Cold War paranoia and Senator Joseph McCarthy exploiting fears of communism, Murrow and his producer Fred Friendly (Clooney) make the bold decision to challenge McCarthy's tactics, using journalism to expose the truth.
