This ambitious album features a stellar lineup of legendary artists. Following collaborations with luminaries like Ken Boothe and Ernest Ranglin on their previous work, ‘Holding It Down’ proudly presents contributions from reggae founding father Johnny Clarke. Joining him are acclaimed Jamaican vocalists Susan Cadogan and Earl 16, the exceptional trombonist Vin Gordon, and UK reggae stalwart Sandra Cross.

The CD is presented in a striking sleeve adorned with a captivating black and white photograph by Charlie Phillips, capturing the essence of the first Notting Hill Carnival in 1966.
