Spike & the Gimme Gimmes - Shit the Bed [CD]

Shit the Bed is the debut album from Spike & the Gimme Gimmes, a punk cover band centred around singer Spike Slawson. This CD brings their punk takes on familiar songs together with catchy hooks and energetic musicianship.

The group grew from the shared punk roots of founding members Spike Slawson, Fat Mike, Chris Shiflett, Joey Cape and Dave Raun, all of whom had established music careers. The band now performs with a changing line-up centred around Slawson.

Its covers include It's Raining Men, Girls Just Want To Have Fun, Hey Ya! and I Want It That Way, alongside We Are The World featuring a large guest line-up.
