Supa 5” x 4” Aquarium Fine Mesh Net

Supa 5” x 4” Aquarium Fine Mesh Net is designed so you can safely transfer delicate fish, remove uneaten food and the skimming of small debris from the water.

The mesh is soft to touch, which prevents damage to the scales of your fish.

The net measures 12cm (W) x 10.8cm (L) with a 25.8cm twisted wire handle makes it much easier to reach deep into your tank. The depth of the net is 9cm

The net is made from 3 pieces of strong gauge wire which is plastic coated to give years of service.

The actual handle has an extra plastic guard to make using the net comfortable and easy to use.

Hints & Tips:

Always place the aquarium net in the tank for a few moments before using to ensure the net has the same temperature as the water and so that it is not dry when used.

There are numerous methods of catching fish in an aquarium. One of the most popular methods is the “two-net” method. Place one edge of a net against the glass and other against the substrate and use the second net to guide your fish into this net. Once the fish is in the net turn the net to the glass so there is no escape for the fish and then lift the net gently to the surface.

It is important that when catching your fish in an aquarium net that you do not chase the fish as this will cause them stress and anxiety.

It is important to sterilise your aquarium net after each time you have used it, a simple salt solution is sufficient. Ensure the net is completely dry as this will help avoid the cross contamination and the spread of diseases such as white spot or parasites, if the fish net is used in multiple aquariums.
