Originally released on the ultra-rare tax-scam imprint TSG Records, this album was the only release from the group formed by Khalid Abdul Shalid. Due to the nature of these 'tax-scam' labels, records were often pressed in extremely limited quantities with minimal promotion or distribution, leading to the album's initial obscurity. However, this obscurity has since cemented its status as a holy grail for diggers and DJs within the 1970s rare soul scene.
