Todd Snider - My Second Rodeo [CD]

My Second Rodeo is a country album by Todd Snider, released on CD. It captures recordings made in September and October 2025 at the Purple Building in East Nashville.

Snider reworked familiar country music tropes over stretched-out, swampy grooves with New Orleans-style horns. He recorded his vocals and guitar before the band, without accompaniment or a click track, so the musicians could follow his lead.

Snider died before the remaining overdubs and additional songs were completed. Guided by his emails, voice memos and demos, his band completed the recordings as My Second Rodeo, Part 1, his final work.
