Mojave 3 - Spoon and Rafter [Vinyl]

Experience the 2026 Remaster of Mojave 3's Spoon and Rafter, a pivotal album in their discography. This vinyl reissue showcases the band's evolution, blending echoes of their singer-songwriter and alt-country roots with a vibrant expansion of their sonic palette. The album features innovative use of electronics, glockenspiels, melodica, and incorporates Beatlesque production techniques, creating a unique and expansive sound.

As described by the band, Spoon and Rafter marked a significant creative period, with ample time spent in their own studio allowing for experimentation with various instruments. This resulted in what is considered by some to be their favorite record. The album also saw the band enter their 'Beach Boys phase,' characterized by a deeper interest in diverse instrumentation and a fuller sound. The integration of an early Pro Tools system enabled more complex arrangements and longer tracks, such as the multi-sectioned 'Bluebird of Happiness'. Notable tracks like 'Bluebird of Happiness' and 'Bill Oddity' even gained mainstream exposure through their inclusion in episodes of the television series The O.C. in 2003.

This remastered vinyl edition offers fans a chance to revisit a landmark album from Mojave 3, celebrated for its adventurous sound and artistic growth.
