Everyone Says Hi - Funny Cos It's True [Vinyl]

Everyone Says Hi Return with Their Second Album

Everyone Says Hi delivers their second album, Funny Cos It's True, a collection of hook-heavy, groove-forward alternative tracks that build upon the success of their acclaimed self-titled debut. This album features eleven tracks of intoxicating indie-pop, showcasing the band's solidified sound with a hazy, retro-futurist aesthetic. The lyrics delve into candid, personal, and lived-in themes, exploring perspectives as a parent and as a son dealing with loss, all delivered with sharp humor and anthemic choruses.

Sonically Rich and Melodic

The album is characterized by classic textures and a warm psych-pop sheen, drawing comparisons to artists like Steely Dan, R.E.M., and Arcade Fire, while also incorporating the modern alt-rock glow of The War On Drugs and Tame Impala. Melody remains front and center throughout this lustrous and distinctly new take on a classic sound.
