Butthole Surfers - After The Astronaut

Experience the legendary, unreleased album from Austin's iconic odd rockers, Butthole Surfers. "After The Astronaut" was originally recorded in 1998 as the follow-up to their modern rock chart success, "Pepper." This album delves deeper into experimental electronics, hip-hop influences, and acid grooves, offering a unique and expansive journey through the possibilities of rock music.

Due to label disputes with Capitol Records, "After The Astronaut" remained unreleased for decades, developing a mythic status among fans. Now, a quarter century later, the vision is finally realized. Newly mixed by guitarist and producer Paul Leary, this release corrects the record on the band's late 90s output, presenting a bold and idiosyncratic evolution of their signature sun-fried psychedelia.

This 1-disc LP record, manufactured by Sunset Blvd Records in the USA, captures the band's distinctive sound and experimental spirit. It's a must-have for fans of alternative and psychedelic rock.
