Tiger - Tiger [Audio CD]

A short-lived but vital chapter in British hard rock, Tiger united renowned session guitarist Big Jim Sullivan with powerhouse vocalist Nicky Moore for a thunderous, riff-forward debut that bridged blues-based hard rock and the rising wave of early heavy metal. Formed in the mid-1970s as the studio era gave way to self-contained bands, Tiger captured the grit, muscle, and studio finesse of two veterans stepping into the spotlight. The album surges with crunchy guitars, robust grooves, and commanding vocals, reflecting the cultural shift from behind-the-scenes craftsmanship to artist-driven expression. Frequently cited among Sullivan’s career highlights, this debut stands as a compelling document of proto-metal evolution—raw, melodic, and steeped in the swagger of classic British rock.
