Oceansize - Self Preserved While The Bodies Float Up [2CD]

This 2CD edition of Oceansize's 2010 album, 'Self Preserved While The Bodies Float Up,' offers a comprehensive look at the band's final full-length release. Remastered at Abbey Road by Frank Arkwright, this edition includes approximately 33 minutes of previously unheard material across six bonus tracks, with three featuring newly recorded vocals by Mike Vennart. The album, originally released in 2010, is celebrated as a landmark in modern British rock, showcasing Oceansize's innovative and uncompromising sound.

The remastered audio breathes new life into the original tracks, from the aggressive 'Build Us A Rocket Then...' to the atmospheric 'Pine.' This edition also provides a rare glimpse into alternate versions of songs, with the bonus tracks offering fully-formed works that were not part of the initial release. Guest vocals from Simon Neil (Biffy Clyro) and Claire Lemmon (Sidi Bou Said, ex-Cardiacs) add further depth to the record.
