The Executors [Blu-ray]

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of this cult classic, meticulously restored from a 4K negative scan for the definitive and longest English release. Experience Roger Moore in a gritty, violent Mafia-buddy movie alongside Stacy Keach, a darker, nastier take on the spirit of 'The Persuaders!'

Midway through his iconic run as James Bond, Roger Moore (Live and Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me) ventured into hard-hitting crime cinema with THE EXECUTORS. Swapping 007's gadgets for shotguns, Moore stars as Ulisse, a British-educated lawyer entangled in the affairs of his uncle, a Stateside crime family boss. When a valuable heroin shipment, hidden within an ancient Sicilian cross, is violently hijacked at the San Francisco docks, Ulisse must team up with the adventurous racing driver Charlie (Stacy Keach) to unmask the culprits and prevent a full-scale mob war.

Directed by Maurizio Lucidi, known for delivering 'pure entertainment,' THE EXECUTORS is a thrilling collision of raw Italian poliziottesco and hard-edged American noir. Featuring a mesmerizing score by Oscar® winner Luis Bacalov, this restored 1080p HD Blu-ray presents the film as its filmmakers intended.
